Jiri Jezek is already legend in very high-leveled paralympic sport – cycling. He is one of the most successful disabled athletes, the „opinion-leader“ and symbol of motivation not just for the similarly handicapped.

After overcoming his loss of leg, he continued to follow his dream – to be a professional athlete. Showing his exceptional talent and strong will he dominated on Paralympic Games Sydney 2000 track competitions winning two gold medals – in his first big event! Since then he is still on medal positions on every main events of disabled cycling, winning Athens 2004 Paralympic gold medal and two gold medals in Beijing Games 2008!

He is also 2006/2007/2009/2010 UCI ParaCycling World Champion!!!

Reaching the top of Paralympic cycling, he never stops. He started to race UCI Elite category in 2001 to compete Czech National Cup, Austrian National Cup, UCI 1.1 one-day races, UCI 2.2 stage races, pro-criteriums (post-Tour de France crits) around Europe as well as Australia and America. Everywhere he comes, people and media admire his abilities and his unbelievable cycling will and strength, how he overcomes his handicap and how he can compete. He´s still improving his level, aiming to compete on harder races to make more publicity and motivation.

Jiri Jezek is well-known for his clean-sport and fair-play standards. Also his speaking skills (english, spanish) make his unique position in cycling. His personal qualities, sport excellence and experiences are used as a benefit for publicity (promotion campaigns, ex/internal motivational speaking, billboards, exhibitions and fairs, etc) by Jiri´s personal supporters and sponsors (D.A.S., NUTREND, DURATEC, RWE, OAKLEY, WRIGLEY, KALAS, FULCRUM, GIRO, SKODA AUTO, etc). Jiri Jezek also supports selected charity organizations, specially oriented to help disadvantaged children, disabled people and health-living and well-being lifestyle.
